The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating two separate stabbings from Monday night. Around 8:45, officers were told of an assault in the 300 block of Avenue M North and found a 52-year-old man with a minor stab wound. Paramedics transported him to hospital with a non-life threatening injury. It’s not known at this point if the victim and suspect knew each other.
Then, around 11:15, police were called to the 1100 block of Avenue F North, and they found a 27-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. Police began lifesaving measures until paramedics arrived and he was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. In this case the two are believed to have known each other. Members of the Serious Assault Unit are investigating, and no arrests have been made.
