The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to an apartment fire on Maxwell Crescent this morning (Fri) in the Massey Place neighbourhood. Fire crews say a suite on the main level was on fire. Residents had self-evacuated and were provided a place to warm up.

The call came in around 7 this morning and crews were preparing to ventilate the building at 7:25. When the air quality was safe, residents were allowed back in their suites. The cause of the fire at this point is unknown.
