After Sunwing announced last Thursday that it was cancelling all Saskatchewan flights up to an including Friday, February 3rd, the airline posted on Saturday that all recovery flights would be complete by the end of the day. A Twitter post from Sunwing says, “We know that, despite our best efforts, we have failed to deliver on what customers have come to expect of Sunwing and sincerely apologize to our customers who have been affected over the holiday season.”
However, not everyone made it back to the Saskatoon or Regina airports. Some reports on social media have customers being dropped off in Winnipeg and Calgary.
