There are still a number of neighbourhoods on the City of Saskatoon’s snow grading list yet to do, but the list of neighbourhoods where it has been completed is longer. On its website, the City says grading is taking longer than expected in some neighbourhoods due to more snow and parked vehicles.
Work on the residential neighbourhoods began on December 30th, once the priority streets were done. It’s expected it will all be done after the night shift tomorrow night (Thurs). The City says residential streets aren’t graded after every snowfall; only when ruts reach 15 centimetres, or six inches in depth.
