Tickets for a fundraiser known for bringing celebrity speakers to Saskatoon go on sale Thursday at noon for the May 8th event.  It’s the 31st annual Silver Spoon Dinner. Spokesperson Linda Shaw says everything is included in your ticket, other than the silent auction items: your meal, your drinks and the entertainment.

This year’s speaker is home design television personality Sarah Richardson. Shaw describes her as a Canadian icon who has been a regular fixture on HGTV Canada for 22 years. She adds that the ticket price has gone up to $250, but if you buy before February 14th, it’s $225, which is what it was previously. They are available through the Silver Spoon website and through their social media channels.

The gala event raises money for the two sponsoring organizations, Saskatoon Hadassah-WIZO and Congregation Agudas Israel along with Saskatoon Interval House and Ronald McDonald House. Click here for the Silver Spoon website.
