Three more people have been arrested by Saskatchewan R-C-M-P Major Crimes in connection to the August 2020, homicide of 20-year-old Wesley Custer.
Thirty-year-old Brian Dreaver of Ahtahkakoop First Nation, 25-year-old Kyle Standing of Saskatoon and 29-year-old Matthew Whitstone of Pelican Lake First Nation are each charged with one count of first-degree murder and are scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on February 6 at 10 a.m.
On August 21, 2020, Wesley Custer was brought to the Shellbrook Hospital with serious injuries. He died shortly after, and his death was determined to be suspicious. Evan Ledoux, Curtis Ledoux and Tyson Lachance were all previously arrested and charged in connection to the Custer homicide.
The investigation continues and Saskatchewan R-C-M-P Major Crimes asks the public that, if they have any information about Wesley Custer’s death, their local police service or R-C-M-P detachment or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
