The 2023 Viterra Scotties, Provincial Women’s Curling Championship, continues today and runs through Sunday in Estevan. A total of 12 teams are taking part in the 12-team, modified triple knock-out plus Page playoffs format. The winner will represent Saskatchewan at the Canadian Scott Tournament of Hearts next month in Kamloops, B-C. Draws today go at 9 a.m, 3 and 7:30 p.m.

The Knights of Columbus Indoor Games start tonight and run through Saturday at the Saskatoon Field House. Tonight is all about the Elementary School Relays. They begin at 5:30 p.m. with the Opening Ceremonies tucked in between racing at 6. The Invitational and age group track and field events get going tomorrow and Saturday.

CJWW’s broadcast starts at 7:45 p.m. with the play-by-play at 8 p.m. The Bridge City Bunch have 28 wins, 10 losses, 4 extra time losses for 60 points…good for 3rd place in the Eastern Conference. Red Deer has 31 wins, 9 losses, 4 extra time losses for 66 points…good for 2nd place in the East. The Blue and Gold’s next home game is Saturday, February 4th when they host the Winnipeg ICE. Game time is 7 p.m. at SaskTel Centre.
The Prince Albert Raiders are idle until Saturday when they visit the Prince George Cougars. P-A has 16 wins, 25 losses, 3 extra time losses for 35 points…good for 11th place in the Eastern Conference. Prince George has 19 wins, 20 losses, 4 extra time losses for 42 points…good for 6th place in the Western Conference.
