Saskatoon Police say they were called out around 4:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon to a report of an individual causing a disturbance.
When officers arrived at the address in the 300 block of 23rd Street East they found a man who they say was carrying drug paraphernalia. Police say he appeared agitated and under the influence of an intoxicant. With the help of a security guard, he was arrested for public intoxication.
However, police say he became combative kicking and biting officers. A 28-year-old man is charged with Causing a Disturbance, Resisting Arrest, Uttering Death Threats and two counts of Assaulting a Police Officer.
