Battlefords RCMP have made an arrest following a robbery at a business on Railway Avenue East on Saturday morning.

A man put several items a shopping cart and told a store employee that he was leaving the store without paying.  The employee was also warned not to say anything. The man pushed the cart west before employees lost sight of him.

Security camera footage—short videos of the suspect entering and leaving the store—were distributed by RCMP on social media.

A 25-year-old man was arrested a few hours later and is now in custody. Braden Zacharias is charged with one count of robbery and one count of resisting arrest. He will appear in court on Monday.
