Between them, two people are facing 32 charges in connection to a Buffalo Narrows RCMP investigation into a break and enter and theft at the home of a conservation officer last month. On February 6th, officers responded and were told several firearms had been stolen, including several duty items and a firearm belonging to the conservation officer. RCMP say they were properly stored at the time of the theft.

An investigation by RCMP and the Meadow Lake Crime Reduction Team led to a traffic stop on Highway 155 between Ile a la Crosse and Canoe Narrows. Police say several of the items reported stolen were found, including the conservation officer’s firearm. Other items seized include suspected cocaine and meth, cell phones, cash, another firearm, a drone, knives, bear mace and a baton.

Both 35-year-old Justin Sinclair from Green lake and 21-year-old Karrianna Petit from Buffalo Narrows are facing various firearms-related charges and possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and meth.
