The Saskatchewan Ministry of Health is reporting fewer COVID cases and deaths over the past couple of weeks.

Between January 29th and February 11th, there were 482 lab-confirmed COVID cases across the province compared to 515 in the previous two-week reporting period.

The report states there were 18 COVID related deaths, down from 22 in the previous reporting period. All the COVID deaths were in people 60 years of age and older.

The Ministry also notes only 46 per cent of residents are up-to-date with COVID vaccinations. Just 20 per cent of people over the age of twelve have received the biovalent booster dose, while 47 per cent of residents over the age of 50 have had more than one booster dose.
