Stantec, the City of Saskatoon’s Technical Advisor on the Downtown Event & Entertainment District, is hosting a presentation tonight (Tues) on the evolution and trends in arenas, convention centres and entertainment districts.

Stantec and City representatives are inviting the public to attend at the Magic Lantern Roxy Theare on 20th Street West beginning at 7 Tuesday night.

A release from the City says this is a chance to see what other cities are doing to revitalize their downtowns and what the latest trends in facilities are.

Stantec has partnered with HOK and LMN, who have experience in similar projects including the Calgary BMO Centre Expansion, the Seattle Convention Centre and Rogers Place and Edmonton’s ICE District.
