Saskatchewan MLAs are back at the Legislature today (Mon) for the spring session.

The provincial budget, healthcare, and the economy will be topics covered this session, as per usual, along with the Saskatchewan First Act – legislation that was introduced in the fall that re-affirms the province’s exclusive jurisdiction over its natural resources.

The Opposition NDP is expected to take the governing Sask. Party to task over its record on job creation, healthcare, and affordability.

The session will also see the Saskatchewan United Party take a seat at the Legislature, with former Independent MLA Nadine Wilson as leader.
