Regina Police say a 41-year-old woman who had been walking at 5th Avenue and Garnet Street was hit by a car Sunday morning.

Emergency responders were called out around 2:30 a.m.

She was taken to hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested and taken to Regina Police Service Headquarters to provide breath samples.
