The fifth flight carrying Ukrainians fleeing the Russian invasion of their country will arrive in Saskatchewan on March 27th.
Minister Responsible Jeremy Harrison announced today that registration is now open for displaced Ukrainians wanting to make the flight to Saskatchewan.
The flight of approximately 230 Ukrainians is being arranged in partnership with humanitarian organizations Solidaire and Open Arms.
Harrison says there are now 3,200 displaced Ukrainians who call Saskatchewan home.
This fifth flight now fulfills the obligations outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding signed on August 12, 2022, by Premier Scott Moe and representatives from Solidaire and Open Arms.
