A new wolf hunting license for non-residents is among fee changes announced Friday by the provincial government.
Effective September 1st, the $200 license will be an add-on to the non-resident big game hunting license. The resident wolf hunting license will remain at $55. The change will generate an estimated $50,00 in revenue.
The Ministry of Agriculture will be modifying access to reports of farmland sold in Saskatchewan. The work is still in progress and an announcement will be made once the changes have been implemented later this year. Those changes will result in a $171,000 revenue decrease in the 2023-24 fiscal year.
The last change will ensure the 486 registered pension plans in the province comply with rules established to protect members’ benefits. Penalties will be introduced to promote voluntary compliance.
