All it costs for an Easter Seals Paper Egg is $2 and proceeds go to everything from Camp Easter Seal, the only fully accessible and barrier free camp in the province, to Summer Fun Day camps and adaptive Technology Services to improve quality of life for those experiencing disability.
A couple of examples of those adaptive technologies are voice activated software, eye gaze technology, where someone can use their eyes to communicate through an electronic keyboard, and mobility equipment.
SaskAbilities spokesperson, Donna Mouflier says every egg helps to open the doors for opportunity for the people they serve. The eggs are available at participating businesses through April 30th.
