There was a large police presence in the 400 block of Avenue H South on Wednesday afternoon, as the Saskatoon Police Guns and Gangs Unit, with help from the Tactical Support Unit and Patrol officers executed a search warrant, acting on information that firearms were present at a home in that area. Several people were ordered to leave the home and a during the search, police report seizing two sawed-off .22 calibre rifles and ammunition. Two 27-year-old Saskatoon men are facing multiple firearms-related charges.
