Canada’s Kerri Einarson has won a bronze medal at the World Women’s curling championship in Sweden. Einarson played Sweden this morning at 3:00am and won the bronze with a score of 8 to 5. Yesterday, Canada fell 8-5 to Norway in the semifinals. Canada has won bronze back-to-back, as last year Canada topped Sweden 8-7 to finish in third, as well.

HOOPLA 2023, Provincial High School Basketball Championships, continue and wind up today in Prince Albert. The 1A girls champion was Lake Lenor, on the boy’s side, Coronach. The 2-A girls champion was Regina Laval, and on the boy’s side was Legacy Christian Academy. The 3-A girls champion was Weyburn and boys champion was Regina Christian.
