A fifth humanitarian flight of displaced Ukrainians will land at the Regina International Airport today (Mon) as the provincial government supports those impacted by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Immigration and Career Training Minister Jeremy Harrison says, “Nearly 4,000 Ukrainians have chosen to call Saskatchewan home and we will welcome as many more as wish to come. This is the last of the five flights from the memorandum of understanding signed last August between Premier Scott Moe and representatives from Solidaire and Open Arms.

The passengers from this flight will be set up with temporary support and accommodations to help them transition, and the Government of Saskatchewan will be hosting events for the public and all newcomers where they will receive hands-on support for a number of programs and services.
