Three members of the Saskatoon Blades and one Prince Albert Raider have been named to the W-H-L’s East Division Second All-Star team.
The league announced the first and second all-star teams for all four divisions Tuesday. Goaltender Austin Elliott, forward Trevor Wong plus captain Aidan De La Gorgendiere of the Bridge City Bunch along with fellow defenceman Landon Kosior of P-A are on the East’s second squad. They are joined by Winnipeg forward Matthew Savoie and Brandon forward Nate Danielson. Among the first-team all-stars are Saskatoon product Kevin Korchinski of Seattle on the U-S Division dream squad. Two members of the Regina Pats, who will play the Blue and Gold in the first round of the W-H-L playoffs starting Friday, were named to the East Division first all-star squad – forward Connor Bedard and defenceman Stanislav Svozil. Davidson product and Seattle defenceman Nolan Allan was named to the U-S Division’s second all-star team while Saskatoon native and Prince George forward Riley Heidt is on the B-C Division second team.
