Since this year’s Saskatchewan Association of Chiefs of Police Firearm Amnesty Program was launched on March 20th, 135 unwanted firearms and nearly 2,400 rounds of ammunition have been turned in across the province. Anyone wanting to surrender unwanted firearms, replicas, ammunition or parts can do so until April 9th through the amnesty program. That means no charges will be laid for unauthorized possession or careless storage of these items.

If you have something you want turned in, contact your local police and arrange a time for pick up. Do not bring them to municipal services, detachments or conservation offices.
