Registrations Now Being Taken as Blades Starting Their Own Annual Hockey School This August

The Saskatoon Blades are starting up a Saskatoon Blades Hockey School, the first of which will be held this summer with registrations now being accepted.

There will be boys divisions of Under-9, Under-11 and Under-13 taking part in a three-day camp, from August 22-24, plus registrations are now being accepted for an Under-11 girls camp to be held August 28-29. Kids will get two hours of on and off-ice training each day with lunch provided on the final day for all players. Sessions will be limited to 23 skaters and two goaltenders for each age division with Trach Power Skating, plus current and/or former Blades players running the camps. It’s the most exciting time of year in the WHL with playoffs well underway but we’ve got something just as exciting cooking for the summer months.

The Saskatoon Blades are excited to begin accepting registrations for the inaugural Saskatoon Blades Hockey School in August!

For three days (Aug. 22nd – Aug. 24th), kids aged U9, U11 and U13 can register for an exciting and memorable hockey experience. We’re thrilled to also begin accepting registrations for U11 girl sessions being held Aug. 28th and 29th!

Kids will get two hours of both on and off-ice training each day, with lunch provided on the final day for all players. All other days participants are expected to bring their own.

Boys Group Pricing: $400

Girls Group Pricing: $300

Trach Power Skating will advise on-ice programming with current and/or former Blades players running the sessions!

ONLY 23 players and two goalies allowed per session, and those attending will walk away with some Jr. Blades Hockey School swag.

· Two hours of ice time per day, six ice sessions total

· Jr. Blades Hockey School jersey

· Water bottle

· Guest appearances from a Blades player and/or Blades Alumni member

· 4 specialty sessions which include:

· Physio/Concussion care

· Importance of Team Dynamics

· Yoga and Stretching Habits

· Nutritional Habits

· Workouts in Blades facilities
