The Saskatoon Police Service says officers spotted a suspicious vehicle around 1:45 a.m. this morning (thurs) at 20th Street West and Avenue P South but when they attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver tried to flee.

The vehicle was abandoned after colliding with a parked car near the intersection of Galloway Road and Lynd Crescent. Those inside fled on foot however suspects were arrested in quick order.

After seizing an expandable baton and bear spray, a 25-year-old woman faces charges of Dangerous Driving, Evade Police, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

A 24-year-old man was charged with Breach of Conditions.
