The man made famous, or infamous, for confronting and assaulting a volunteer parking lot attendant following a Saskatoon Blades playoff game earlier this month, has turned himself in to Saskatoon Police.
The identity of the 63-year-old man was not released by the S-P-S. He turned himself in Monday at Saskatoon Police Service headquarters and was charged with assault as a result of a police investigation.
Video following Game two of the Blades-Regina playoff series showed a visibly angry man confronting two parking attendants while vehicles attempted to leave the grounds. The video shows him kicking an 18-year-old male attendant as well as grabbing and throwing a lighted baton away. Video of the incident had been obtained and verified by investigators.
