Two men were arrested without incident by the La Ronge R-C-M-P’s General Investigation Section on April 5 following a search warrant obtained on suspicion of cocaine trafficking being done from a residence in Stanley Mission.
Nineteen-year-old Yeina Koladino of Saskatoon and 38-year-old Russell Charles of Stanley Mission were each charged with one count each of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime less than five-thousand dollars.
At a home on Settee Street in Stanley Mission, the search warrant was executed with officers locating and seizing a small amount of crack cocaine, a machete, a sum of cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia. Koladino was also charged with fail to comply with undertaking and fail to comply with probation plus he had an outstanding warrant from Stanley Mission R-C-M-P for failing to appear in court. He was to have appeared in La Ronge Provincial Court on April 6 while Charles is scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on May 1.
