It wasn’t the big jackpot from last night, but Merv Easton of Pike Lake won 2 million dollars on the April 1 Western 649 ticket.

When he checked his ticket on Sunday morning and realized he was a winner he turned up the tunes and did a little dance around his living room.

Easton says he is going to help his family, especially his kids and after that he’d like to see Ireland.

Merv purchased his winning WESTERN 649 ticket at the Vanscoy Esso.

No one won the $62 million on the Lotto 649 last night but one ticket in Ontario won the $1 million on the Gold Ball draw.

The Lotto 649 this Saturday is now $64 million.
