The next session of the Water Distribution and Collection Training Course is taking applications now. The deadline for applications is Monday. The session begins May 1st with Sask Polytechnic and the Radius Community Centre coordinating course content and delivery.

The nine-week course provides the training necessary for individuals to work in water and wastewater treatment, including for the City of Saskatoon where 13 of the 29 program graduates have been hired. The program was developed in response to the T-R-C Call to Action to provide pathways for indigenous students to find jobs. Admission preference is given to indigenous applicants as a result with funding supports available for those qualifying through referral by program partners.
