Over the lunch hour Friday in Regina Police were called to a report of a woman outside a business, armed with a knife, stabbing tires on vehicles in the parking lot.

Regina Police Service was told that she had originally shown up at a business in the 2900 block of Dewdney Avenue with a sledge hammer which had been taken away from her.

When officers arrived they saw a female suspect who started running away.  She was apprehended by a Police Service Dog.  Officers were told at the scene the woman had threated a staff member with the knife.  She was on conditions not to possess a knife.

23 year old Laina Avery Tuckanow of Regina is charged with Assault with a Weapon and Breach of Undertaking.
