Onion Lake RCMP have issued warrants for the arrest of three suspects wanted in connection to a carjacking.

RCMP say on Monday two adults travelling in a vehicle on Highway 797 on Onion Lake First Nation were approached by four armed individuals who were on foot. They forced their vehicle to a stop and made them get in the back seat. The victims were not harmed and were dropped off a short distance away. The suspects fled in the vehicle which was recovered in Onion Lake later in the day.

Forty-year-old Wilson Tyler Mountain, 19-year-old Charlie Chief and 27-year-old Alex Dillon, all from Onion Lake, are each charged with: two counts, robbery; two counts, point a firearm; one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Warrants have been issued for their arrest and Onion Lake RCMP are actively working to locate them. Onion Lake RCMP continue to work to identify the fourth suspect.

Wilson Tyler Mountain, also known as Tyler Mountain, is described as approximately 5’7″ and 170 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

Charlie Chief is described as approximately 5’4″ and 150 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
