The Saskatchewan Liberal Party is looking for suggestions for a new name. At its annual general meeting in March, members voted 88 per cent in favour of changing the name. Leader of the provincial Liberal Party, Jeff Walters, says suggestions are welcomed from members and the general public. Walters adds that along with the name suggestions, they would like short videos or other media to support the reason for the name submission. The deadline is May 17th. Then a short list of potential names will be compiled and presented to the party membership.
Later, a new look will be revealed. Walter says, “Even with the new name and look, our duty will remain the same: to help bring the greatest good to the greatest number of people,” said Walters. “We must take our province back and make it work for everybody.”
