Last year, on the 40th anniversary of the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation, almost $6.9 million was raised to support the hospital and the Hospice at Glengarda. At its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, former Board Chair, Dr. Vivian Walker highlighted that, “it is the phenomenal support from our community that allows our Foundation to continue to positively impact patient care.” At the meeting, the Foundation reported that the goal of $1.5 million was raised for the da Vinci Surgical Robot and the implementation of the provincial Surgical Robotics Program. Gwen Dueck is now the Board Chair and Kevin Sharfe is Vice-Chair.
