A conference about emerging technology and trends is being presented tomorrow (Thursday) by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. The event is called THINK: The Future of Work, Technology and Learning 2023, and is running from 9:00-2:30 at Prairieland Park.

The goal of the conference is to prepare participants for the future, and allow them to gai insight from several speakers who are experts in their field. Several speakers include Dr. Michelle Weise, author of ‘Long-Life Learning: Preparing for Jobs that Don’t Even Exist Yet’, and Martin Ford, author of ‘Rise of the Robots: Technology and the Threat of a Jobless Future’. The two authors will take opposing stances on the topic of the future of tech. There will also be a round table discussion on envisioning work and the workplace of the future.
