NDP leader Carla Beck was escorted out of the legislative assembly on Wednesday afternoon after claiming the Minister of Trade and Development, Jeremy Harrison, was lying during question period.
The exchange between Beck and Jeremy Harrison was about pipelines. Beck asked what the government was doing to support steelworkers who are facing layoffs in Regina. The following audio is Harrison’s response and the resulting exchange between Beck and Speaker Randy Weekes.
United Steelworks union members at the legislature said the minister’s response was disrespectful.
