Sheldon Nickel is no longer a fugitive from the law.
Rosetown R-C-M-P say the 40-year-old was located and arrested Thursday in Rosetown. He had been wanted for failing to attend two separate court appearances last month in Rosetown and Biggar. Nickel was initially arrested by Rosetown R-C-M-P for possession of stolen property, by Outlook R-C-M-P for break, enter and theft and theft over five thousand dollars while Biggar R-C-M-P had arrested Nickel for obstructing a peace officer. In addition, Nickel is charged with resisting arrest and possession of stolen property over five thousand dollars. He was remanded and is scheduled to appear in court via C-C-T-V on May 9 in Saskatoon.
