If you have seen black smoke billowing from North Saskatoon, the Saskatoon Fire Department has responded to a fire at BN Metals on Quebec Avenue.

It has been confirmed that the fire is in the yard and not in the building.

Callers to the Saskatoon Media Group newsroom are reporting traffic being badly backed up on Circle Drive North and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Saskatoon Police are working on closing Quebec Avenue between Circle Dr. and 40th St. E.
