The provincial government’s support of an online system that simplifies the process of starting a business has been renewed with the signing of a five-year agreement for a total investment of just over $191,000. Trade and Export Development Minister Jeremy Harrison says BizPal, which has been available in Saskatchewan since 2007, includes access to business permits, licence service, and it reduces time spent on paperwork, helping entrepreneurs to start up quicker.

A news release from the province says about 250 users visit the Saskatchewan BizPal site every month, and about 11 per cent are from users outside of Saskatchewan and Canada, meaning they could be investigating the possibility of starting a business in the province.
