Retirement and real estate are what lies ahead for Saskatoon’s newest millionaires.
Mitchell and Sheila Peebles were presented with a $5-million cheque on Friday afternoon for winning last Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 Classic Draw.
Sheila is also retiring from her position at EGADZ.
The Peebles are planning on buying a new house for themselves as well as homes for their three daughters.
It was a quick process—they went to the Western Canada Lottery Office on Monday morning after learning of their win the previous day.
The winning ticket was purchased on the same day of the draw at One Stop Convenience on 29th Street West.
