The 2022 provincial exports to the United States are the highest in Saskatchewan’s history, having reached $29.3 billion.
Trade and Export Development Minister Jeremy Harrison states that the U.S. is Saskatchewan’s largest export market, and since 2018, exports have increased by 74 per cent. The top three exports are crude oil at $13.3 billion, potash at $6.5 billion and $2.8 billion in canola oil exports.
The province says in a news release that earlier this year exports to Mexico surpassed $1 billion for the first time.
