Moose Jaw Police say two suspects were arrested on Friday evening after a member of the public called to alert police to two people on the south side of the city firing what appeared to be a handgun.
Two people on bikes were intercepted by officers. Police say they were in possession of several weapons including three knives and a BB gun that had been made to appear like a realistic firearm. They have been charged with weapon dangerous to the public.
Moose Jaw Police Service says it treats all weapons calls as serious and advise that using or discharging CO2-type guns within city limits is illegal.
