SCHEDULE FOR FRIDAY, MAY 19
The Saskatchewan Roughriders continue their 2023 training camp today, running through May 31st. Today’s session runs from 9 a.m. to Noon at Griffiths Stadium. The Green and White start their pre-season schedule on Saturday, May 27th when they host the B-C Lions. Kick-off time is 5 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium in Regina. The Riders begin their regular-season schedule on Sunday, June 11th at 5 p.m. when they visit the Edmonton Elks. Saskatchewan’s regular-season home-opener is Friday, June 16th against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Kick-off time is 7 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium.

The 2023 Centennial Cup, National Junior A Hockey Championship tournament continues today and runs through Sunday in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. The preliminary round-robin is done with the 10 teams reduced to six for the playoffs. The S-J-H-L-champion Battlefords North Stars are taking part and finished their round-robin schedule with 3 wins, 1 loss for 9 points…good for 1st place in Pool B.
