There was player movement before Thursday morning’s final on-field preparation session ahead of playing a game for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The Green and White signed import offensive lineman Brandon Council, who recently attended rookie mini-camp with the Jets. The 6’4″, 328-pound North Carolina product spent the last three seasons at Auburn where he lined up at all five positions along the offensive line over 27 games. To make room on the roster, the Riders released import O-Lineman Jordan Tucker. Saskatchewan hosts the B-C Lions Saturday in the first pre-season game in 2023 for both teams.
