A 37-year-old man faces a charge of break and enter following an early Monday morning incident in the 1800 block of Avenue D North.
At about 1:50 a.m. on May 29, a man reported to the Saskatoon Police Service that he left his residence for a few minutes, only to discover two unknown men inside when he returned. An altercation ensued with one of the suspects receiving a stab wound before they both fled the scene on foot. A short time later, police received a report of an injured male looking for assistance in the 1300 block of Idylwyld Drive North. Police subsequently learned that the same man was receiving treatment for a serious injury at St. Paul’s Hospital, after which he was placed under arrest.
