Three people were arrested and face multiple charges following a May 24 search warrant executed by the La Ronge R-C-M-P General Investigation Section and the R-C-M-P Emergency Response Team under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act on the 1200 block of Mirasty Crescent in La Ronge.

Twenty-one year-old Awab el-Sandali of Toronto, 32-year-old Bradley Ratt and 43-year-old Patricia Charles, both of the La Ronge District were among eight individuals arrested after police located a rifle, about one ounce of cocaine, ammunition, digital scales, baggies, cellphones and other miscellaneous items consistent with drug-trafficking activity. The other five people arrested were released without charges while El-Sandali and Ratt are to make their next court appearances in La Ronge on Thursday while Charles was released with a court date scheduled for June 26 in La Ronge.
