An RCMP drug bust resulted in the seizure of approximately 40 grams of cocaine, a quantity of cash, and other evidence consistent with drug trafficking activity.

Last Friday evening the North Battleford RCMP Gang Task Force executed one search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of 105 Street and a second at a property approximately 2 kilometres east of the city.

The North Battleford RCMP Gang Task Force worked closely with officers from the Safer Communities and Neighborhoods (SCAN), who completed their own investigation simultaneously under the Safer Communities and Neighborhoods Act.

Forty-two-year-old Micheal Desmeules and 30-year-old Morgan Geering, both of North Battleford, have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
