The Saskatchewan Roughriders’ time in Saskatoon is done for another year!
The Green and White wrapped up their 2023 C-F-L training camp Thursday morning with a walk-thru at Griffiths Stadium ahead of Friday’s second and final pre-season game in Winnipeg. After missing last Saturday’s 30-27 exhibition victory over visiting B-C while being with his wife as she gave birth to the couple’s third child, Trevor Harris will make his Riders’ debut at quarterback against the Blue Bombers. Head coach Craig Dickenson said Harris will get the first quarter and possibly part of the second before the other three signal-callers – Mason Fine, Jake Dolegala and Shea Patterson split the remaining snaps. In addition, newcomer Adam Korsak will handle the punting chores in Winnipeg as returnee Kaare Vedvik has a minor quad pull and did not accompany the team on the road. The Roughriders will open the regular-season a week from Saturday in Edmonton. Following are media scrums with Dickenson and Harris, plus a conversation about the Green and White that I had with Riders’ radio play-by-play voice Michael Ball (pictured)…..
