As of 7:00am Sunday, Saskatchewan’s wildfire count is at 29, up one from Saturday.
Six are considered contained, 15 are under ongoing assessment, three where the focus is to protect property, and five are not contained. The air quality statements from yesterday in areas such as Beauval, Ile a La Crosse, Buffalo Narrows, La Loche, and La Ronge remain in place.
Meanwhile in Alberta, there are 76 active wildfires. Thirty-five are under control, 24 are out of control, and 17 are being held.
