The Saskatoon Public Schools has advised classes are cancelled at Pleasant Hill School today due to an incident in the area. There were no further details however, Saskatoon Police are currently answering a weapons call in the same block.

As of 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Saskatoon Police advises the public of a heavy police presence in the 200 block of Avenue S South due to an ongoing investigation and a school in the area is closed as a precaution.  Traffic restrictions are in place and members of the public are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
