Three-hundred-fifty-four grants totaling over $4.5 million will help community projects across Saskatchewan and camps and day programs for children and youth.
The money comes from the Community Initiatives Fund which was created through the Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan Corporation.
Executive Director of the CIF, Tracey Mann, says the projects chosen to ensure that people have access to services, supports and programming designed to improve their wellbeing.
Some of the projects are a Community Astronomy Initiative in Air Ronge, a Senior Symposium in Humboldt, a Gambling Awareness Program in Regina, an Indigenous Family Wellness program in Saskatoon and Mental Health Programs and Activities in Weyburn.
