One person was taken to hospital with burns after a fire at an apartment in the 200 block of Avenue P South this morning.
The Saskatoon Fire Department got the 911 call at 6:13 a.m. and responding fire crews saw flames coming from the main level of the apartment.
One adult person was in the suite when the fire started and was removed before fire crews arrived. Having sustained burns the person was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The fire was brought under control at 6:40 a.m. The Saskatoon Fire Department Fire Investigator and a Saskatoon City Police Arson Investigator are still determining a cause of the fire. Damage is estimated at $50,000.
